The new buses are equipped with more validators, located nearby each of three doors, allowing easy boarding and exiting the bus, and eliminating the bottleneck effect. This particular model is very similar to regular M.A.N. buses, which are actively used by Egged during recent years. Generally, the third door is the main constructional difference between the old and the new models. Egged plans to purchase 50 buses of this type, and to use them primarily on Jerusalem and other highly dense populated areas.
