How it works?
An automatic validation* system that doesn’t require the passenger to go through the driver will operate on marked buses. With the new validation system, passengers can board the bus form at the back door, easily and quickly, without any unnecessary delays. Validation of loaded Rav Kav card for an appropriate travel contract, will be done at the automatic machines on the bus.
- For validation place your Rav-Kav with a pre-loaded appropriate travel fare contract on the validator on the bus. Green light indicates an approved validation.
- If you see a red light or in case of any other problem, please, ask a the driver for assistance.
Please, note! Passengers must validate their Rav-Kav for each journey.
Buses equipped with validation machines will be under a strict control. Unvalidated journey is equal to fare evasion and will lead to a fine. Press here to see penalty fare.
Avoid any further problems and incidents: remember to validate your Rav-Kav every time you boarding bus. Passengers who have purchased daily/ weekly/ monthly/ student pass, as well passengers who purchased continuing trip ticket or multy-ride transit ticket still must validate Rav-Kav each and every time they boarding or interchange a bus or ‘metronit’ (even it’s the interchange within 90 minutes).
